Magpul Love from the Czech Republic

We recently received an article from the April issue, No. 2, in Combat Zone Magazine that reviewed the AFG

Combat Zone is a Czech Republic magazine written for past, present, and future warriors that are interested in Special forces, Military and safety.

Definitely a nice write up. For those of you not well versed in Czech, here is the English translation, enjoy:

It is quite usual to have a grip on foregrip of your weapon in this time. Tactical grip enables better weapon handling, especially in dynamic situations. You can see many types, short, long, with bi-pod, folding etc. Not long time ago american company Magpul introduced own AFG grip – Angled Fore Grip in interesting design. At first glance it is clear, that it is not classic “stick”. Angled grip enables to grab weapon at front part of foregrip while keeping rules of ergonomics and together to pull the weapon into your arm. At this way of grip should be shooter able to set the shooting direction and behavior of the weapon significantly better then with traditional grip or without grip. The idea is follows: only supporting the weapon by your hand is not enough and during use of classic grip main portion of mass and therefore also weight is above our hands. While holding your weapon with AFG your thumb is above the foregrip and your other fingers grip the weapon and support it from underside. Firm holding of your weapon you will see while switching from one target to another, according to Magpul representatives. The grip is from plastic material and mounts on lower rail on foregrip. So as other Magpul products the AFG grip is delivered in several colors: sand, sage, olive and black.

Thank you to Michal from Combat Zone for getting this to us!
