Dr. Drake: Broken but not Beaten
As some of you may have heard through social networking or industry chatter, our very own Dr. Drake was injured while moving a safe with a friend. The safe unfortunately slipped and landed on the good Doctor’s leg, shattering it (see below).
This break was quite devastating, and there were a select few of us at this office with the immediate thought; “How is Drake going to get to the 10th Annual Texas Tactical Rifle Hunt?!”
Well, fret not! Dr. Drake eats nails for breakfast. I haven’t seen it myself, but I think it’s a safe assumption after hearing about his excursion to South West Texas last weekend.
In not so great spirits, the Doctor ventured down south into the grand ol’ Lone Star State for the 10th annual Texas Tactical Rifle Hunt (TTRH). TTRH is a weekend where a handful of industry professionals get together for some networking, business development, and of course a little bit of fun.
Drake stuck it out through the weekend through excruciating pain and discomfort while resting easy in his “Tread-Chair”. From this “Tread-Chair”, Drake did his part to control the Swine population, and I’m hoping, did a few tank track donuts.
All in all Dr. Drake made it home without any other injuries and is now on the road to recovery. Here’s to prompt healing and physical therapy! Cheers Drake!
